RMA Procedure


Step II – Return Materials Authorization (RMA)

When a telephone has been installed, following user manual instructions, and the unit fails to operate, the user must contact Guardian Telecom to obtain Return Materials Authorization (RMA) before returning the telephone for analysis and repair.

WARNING: Do not attempt to open or repair a Factory Serviceable product as this will void the warranty if in affect. Most importantly it may cause irreparable damage, making your product in-operable and/or dangerously unsafe for the environment that it is regulated for.

To ensure a timely and efficient return & repair process, customers are required to fill out the Return Materials Authorization form, or forward an e-mail, or a facsimile (403) 253-4967, providing the information for the fields listed below including sufficient owner identification, contact information, product identification, quantities and a description of the nature of the problem. The Guardian Telecom RMA form provides a number of typical problems to help a customer describe the issue.

1). Owner Identification

2). Person responsible for the repair and/or the person who identified the malfunction

3). Person who identified the malfunction (if different then the person responsible for the repair)

5). List All Equipment Being Returned

Include the Model Number, Serial Number and a detailed description of the problem for each item returned. Model and Serial Numbers can be found on the label attached to each product.

Guardian will issue a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number after the customer has provided complete information on the telephone owner, the product and the nature of the problem.

 

After you have followed the RMA Procedure and have received an RMA number
