Guardian’s SCT Series
telephones were originally designed for the harsh conditions of
Potash mines in Saskatchewan, Canada. We have expanded the line
and now offer 4 different versions which are utilized in a
variety of applications. These telephones are standard with an
encapsulated circuit board which resists failures due to
moisture, dust and vibration.

We have a complete family of industrial telephones which
have been designed to meet a variety of customer
requirements. Our SCT family was designed to meet the needs
of potash mines. The ACT series was designed to replace a
Northern Telecom product that had been widely used by
railroads. The VRT phone is specifically designed to
withstand vandalism. Our newest desktop phones offer a LCD
display, have a built in ring detect relay, and support a
supplemental earpiece. Whatever your environment, we have a
phone that will meet your needs, both indoor and outdoor. |

Guardian’s SCR-11 & 41 Steel
Compact Ringdown Telephones are designed for harsh
environments with special communication needs, ensuring high
quality communications under extreme working conditions. As
soon as the receiver is lifted the SCR-11 or SCR-41
automatically connects the caller to an assigned PBX
location.

These non-hazardous rated versions of Guardian’s Zone 1
telephone have a Type 4X, IP66 weather rating without being
housed in a separate enclosure. The units have a few more
standard features than our normal weather resistant units
including a hands free speakerphone and a built-in ring
detect relay. All versions can be wall mounted or used as a
desk telephone. |
